Roof Mounting - SolarSheat 1500G The SolarSheat solar panel heats inside air and transfers it back into the room through a duct in the attic to re-circulate. The inline fan kit can be powered by an AC/DC wall adapter or by an additional photovoltaic (PV) cell, to keep it of the grid. |

What: This SolarSheat model is 100% self-contained (self-powered), needing NO electrical or plumbing hook-ups. Solarsheat solar heating panels can be installed on the Southern exterior wall or roof of your home.
How it works: Air is drawn into the panel from inside the room through the bottom of the unit and blown out through a duct in the top. The PV (photovoltaic) cell on the upper part of the panel operates the circulation fan and the digital thermostat. How does a PV cell work?
Installation: These units can be used in remote or "off the grid" locations such as garages, shops, vacation homes, hunting cabins, stables, arenas, or kennels. Installation is easy and can be a do-it-yourself project or installed by a professional.
Heating Capacity: The primary unit can heat up to 1000 Sqare feet, while the supplemental panel (1500GS) can produce an extra 800 square feet of heating area. The thermostat can completely shut down the unit in warmer weather or at any other time you choose.
External Control: The SolarSheat 1500G includes an external digital thermostat that allows you to preset your room temperature. The unit can deliver up to 120ºF (49ºC) estimated for room heating.

A 1500GS (secondary) collector can be attached to the 1500G (primary) panel for larger room heating needs (see the 1500GS 2 Pak). By increasing the surface area that can absorb solar rays, the addition of the 1500GS will allow for higher room temperatures and better performance in colder climates and hazy conditions. Multiple Solarsheat 1500GS panels can be connected together to form larger configurations for commercial applications. |
The SolarSheat 1500GS 2 Pak can supplement the heat for a large room up to 1500 square feet* in the daytime and installs in a few hours on a south facing wall or roof.** TheSolarSheat 1500GS 2 Pak can drive solar heated air through a wall or through a cathedral ceiling. For longer duct runs, solar powered booster fans are available. It's the perfect heater when there is a large area to heat, adjacent to the south facing wall or roof,** high temperature rises (40ºF and higher) and/or cloudy weather performance are desired. A duct kit, including a digital thermostat, is included with the SolarSheat 2 Pak. The solar-powered fan keeps it electrically separate from the rest of the house. Tough tempered glass keeps the air hot even during cold and windy winter days. The fan is built into the collector so installation is easy!
